We're giving thanks to our Nowhere Society members with an exclusive free screening of Children of Men!

It's been an excellent year for Nowhere Cinema, largely due to the support of our Nowhere Society members. Every month, their donation builds capacity for our screenings, allows us to keep ticket prices low, and makes way for special events. It has been so extremely affirming of the hard work that goes into making Nowhere Cinema a part of the Richmond film community. So! We're celebrating with a very special members-only screening of Children of Men.

As Children of Men celebrates its 20th anniversary, it also nears the film's setting of 2027. It's a great time to reflect on this brilliant movie by Alfonso Cuarón. Children of Men is a technical marvel, and its cinematography is among the all-time greats... but what stands out more and more is its bleak prediction of the state of the world. You'll find Children of Men to be painfully relatable for a science fiction film about an infertile humanity.

There will be no tickets on sale online or at the door. Members get free entry and a poster by Chris Visions to take home. If you'd like to learn more about the benefits of being a Nowhere Society member, you can do so here!

This screening will be subtitled.
