Join Nowhere Cinema on the road with a screening of The Hitcher!

Few road movies weaponize the open highway quite like 1986's The Hitcher. Where the genre usually finds freedom in the landscape, Robert Harmon's 1986 thriller finds dread. The endless stretch of empty road becomes a trap, and every mile feels like borrowed time. Best of all, Rutger Hauer's performance as the villain is chilling and perfectly controlled. He's one of the all-time greats for baddies as far as we're concerned.
This screening will be subtitled.
CW: The Hitcher features stalking, gun violence, other violence, and a gnawing tension.
